Finding the selection tool : 

Finding the selection tool This is the quick select tool, it is located to the right of your adobe Photoshop cs3 main screen or it can be selected by pressing the “w” key

Selecting you picture : 

Selecting you picture The quick select tool is set to “+” by default and is great because all you have to do is click on the areas you want selected This is the add, subtract and select options located top left of you adobe Photoshop cs3 This is what the select tool looks like as default

Selecting that areas you want : 

Selecting that areas you want This is very simple, to select the areas you want all you have to do is click and drag on the areas you want selected. After clicking and dragging over the area you want selected you will get a moving black and white line around it.

Moving your selection : 

Moving your selection Click on the move tool at the top of the tools panel located at the left of your Photoshop cs3 program or by pressing “v”. Now your selection is free to be dragged wherever you want

Making copy's : 

Making copy's To make a copy of a selection is very simple, all you need to do is tap “ctrl” and “c” to copy then “ctrl” and “v” to past. Just remember to be on the right layer when trying to move your copy as when you make a new copy it automatically crates its own layer

Possibilities : 

Possibilities Now you know how to use the quick select tool you are free to do what ever you want with it. This tool is an amazing feature of Photoshop CS3 and is used in nearly every picture edited with Photoshop, from making layers to selecting minute detail, the quick select tool is most used tool in Photoshop.
