INTRODUCTION:

INTRODUCTION Knowledge Management System is a software developed for storing the information about the subject and subject’s topics online.

OBJECTIVES:

OBJECTIVES To save time and cost by reducing manual work. To make the whole process of working very smooth . To reduce work load of teacher as well as students.

SOFTWARE REQUIREMENT SPECIFICATION:

SOFTWARE REQUIREMENT SPECIFICATION User Interfaces: Each part of the user interface intends to be as user friendly as possible. Hardware Interfaces: A minimum of system having a processor like Pentium will be needed to run the modules with 256 MB RAM and 40 GB hard disk . Software Interfaces : The operations will be intended to be made as fast as possible.

SYSTEM DESIGN:

SYSTEM DESIGN Spiral Model: A spiral model is divided into a number of framework activities, also called task regions. Those task regions are as follows : Planning —tasks required to define resources, timelines, and other project related information. Risk analysis —tasks required to assess both technical and management risks. Engineering —tasks required to build one or more representations of the application.

TOOLS AND TECHNOLOGY USED:

TOOLS AND TECHNOLOGY USED Microsoft .NET framework 2.0 as Application architecture. Visual Studio 2008 Microsoft SQL Server 2005 for back end database. This windows Application is tested on Windows 7 platform.

TESTING:

TESTING This module is tested by the following testing methods Unit Testing Integration Testing

IMPLIMENTATION:

IMPLIMENTATION Implementation requirement : Client machine must have .NET framework. MS SQL SERVER 2005 should be installed on the client’s machine.
