History Of Singapore Singapore rose in importance during the 14th century under the rule of Srivijayan prince Parameswara and became an important port until it was destroyed by Portuguese raiders in 1613. The modern history of Singapore began in 1819 when Englishman Sir Thomas Stamford Raffles established a British port on the island. Under British colonial rule, it grew in importance as a centre for both the India-China trade and the entrepôt trade in Southeast Asia, rapidly becoming a major port city. During World War II, Singapore was conquered and occupied by the Japanese Empire from 1942 to 1945. When the war ended, Singapore reverted to British control, with increasing levels of self-government being granted, culminating in Singapore's merger with the Federation of Malaya to form Malaysia in 1963. However, social unrest and disputes between Singapore's ruling People's Action Party and Malaysia's Alliance Party resulted in Singapore's expulsion from Malaysia. Singapore became an independent republic on 9 August 1965. P2 a

History of Vietnam :

History of Vietnam The history of Vietnam began 2,700 years ago. Successive dynasties based in China ruled Vietnam directly for most of the period from 111 BC until 938 when Vietnam regained its independence.Vietnam remained a tributary state to its larger neighbor China for much of its history but repelled invasions by the Chinese including three invasions by the Mongols between 1255 and 1285. King Tr?n Nhân Tông later diplomatically submitted Vietnam to a tributary of the Yuan to avoid further conflicts. The independent period temporarily ended in the middle to late 19th century, when the country was colonized by France (see French Indochina). During World War II, Imperial Japan expelled the French to occupy Vietnam, though they retained French administrators during their occupation. After the war, France attempted to re-establish its colonial rule but ultimately failed. The Geneva Accords partitioned the country in two with a promise of democratic election to reunite the country.

History of Thailand The history of Thailand begins with the migration of the Thais from their ancestral home in southern China into mainland southeast Asia around the 10th century AD. Prior to this Mon, Khmer and Malay kingdoms ruled the region. The Thais established their own states starting with Sukhothai and then Ayutthaya kingdom. These states fought each other and were under constant threat from the Khmers, Burma and Vietnam. Much later, the European colonial powers threatened in the 19th and early 20th centuries, but Thailand survived as the only Southeast Asian state to avoid colonial rule. After the end of the absolute monarchy in 1932, Thailand endured sixty years of almost permanent military rule before the establishment of a democratic system.

But when construction of the Marble Temple was complete, a replicate of the Phra Buddha Shinaraja was created and enshrined in the temple instead, due to that the people of Phitsanulok and northern Thailand were unwilling to part with their Buddha image, the main source of their religious inspiration. IATA Organization :

IATA Organization IATA - The International Air Transport Association -  was founded in Havana, Cuba, in April 1945. It is the prime vehicle for  inter-airline cooperation in promoting safe, reliable, secure and economical  air services - for the benefit of the world's consumers. The international  scheduled air transport industry is now more than 100 times larger than it was in 1945. Few industries can match the dynamism of that growth, which  would have been much less spectacular without the standards, practices and procedures developed within IATA. At its founding, IATA had 57 members from 31 nations, mostly in Europe and North America. Today it has some 230 members from 126 nations in every part of the globe. The modern IATA is the successor to the International  Air Traffic Association founded in the Hague in 1919 - the year of the  world's first international scheduled services. P1 a & b

IATA Activities :

IATA Activities For consumers, IATA simplifies the travel and shipping processes, while keeping costs down. Passengers can make one telephone call to reserve a ticket, pay in one currency and then use the ticket on several airlines in several countries. This meeting was in Honolulu, Hawai'i and the group named themselves the 'Pacific Interim Travel Association' (PITA) which became the 'Pacific Area Travel Association' (PATA) in 1953. International Civil Aviation Organization (ICAO) :

International Civil Aviation Organization (ICAO) This Organization was in operation from August 1945 to April 1947 when the permanent ICAO came into being. Its seat was in Montreal, Canada and in 1947 the change from PICAO to ICAO was little more than a formality. However, it also brought about the end of ICAN because, now that ICAO was firmly established, the ICAN member States agreed to dissolve ICAN by naming ICAO specifically as its successor Organization.

Activity of ICAO :

Activity of ICAO In aviation, accidents are usually highly visible, and as a result aviation has developed standardised methods of investigating, documenting, and disseminating errors and their lessons Although operating theatres are not cockpits, medicine could learn from aviation Observation of flights in operation has identified failures of compliance, communication, procedures, proficiency, and decision making in contributing to errors Surveys in operating theatres have confirmed that pilots and doctors have common interpersonal problem areas and similarities in professional culture

Warsaw Convention :

Warsaw Convention The Warsaw Convention is an international convention which regulates liability for international carriage of persons, luggage or goods performed by aircraft for reward. Originally signed in 1929 in Warsaw (hence the name), it was amended in 1955 at The Hague and in 1975 in Montreal. United States courts have held that, at least for some purposes, the Warsaw Convention is a different instrument from the Warsaw Convention as Amended by the Hague Protocol. In particular, the Warsaw Convention: Mandates carriers to issue passenger tickets; Requires carriers to issue baggage checks for checked luggage; Creates a limitation period of 2 years within which a claim must be brought.

Chicago Conventions :

Chicago Conventions In Chicago in the year 1944, In an international meeting , between various governments, The Chicago conventions on international civil aviations concluded. In this conventions, nearly all countries active in international air transport, participated. The Chicago conventions Governs relations between states on technical as well as commercial subjects connecting international air transport.

Freedoms of the Air :

Freedoms of the Air First Freedom - The right to fly and carry traffic over the territory of another partner to the agreement without landing. (Almost all countries are partners to the Convention but some have observed this freedom better than others. When the Korean airliner lost its way over Soviet air space a few year ago and was shot down, the Soviet Union (among other offenses!) violated this First Freedom.) Second Freedom - The right to land in those countries for technical reasons such as refueling without boarding or deplaning passengers. Third Freedom - The right of an airline from one country to land in a different country and deplane passengers coming from the airline’s own country.

Freedoms of the Air :

Freedoms of the Air Fourth Freedom - The right of an airline from one country to land in a different country and board passengers traveling to the airline’s own country. Fifth Freedom - This freedom is also sometimes referred to as 'beyond rights'.  It is the right of an airline from one country to land in a second country, to then pick up passengers and fly on to a third country where the passengers then deplane.  An example would be a flight by American Airlines from the US to England that is going on to France. Traffic could be picked up in England and taken to France. Sixth Freedom - The right to carry traffic from one state through the home country to a third state. Example: traffic from England coming to the US on a US airline and then going on to Canada on the same airline. Seventh Freedom - The right to carry traffic from one state to another state without going through the home country. Example would be traffic from England going to Canada on a US airline flight that does not stop in the US on the way. Eighth Freedom - This is also called cabotage and almost no country permits it.  Airline cabotage is the carriage of air traffic that originates and terminates within the boundaries of a given country by an air carrier of another country.  An example of this would be an airline like Virgin Atlantic Airways operating flights between Chicago and New Orleans.

Slide 68:

Talking about hotel travel organization are helping us as a industry and you as a tourist or general public let make an example of IATA and UFTAA. IATA contribution come in only after governments have completed negotiating traffic and other rights among themselves and have authorized airline to perform such service members of IATA committees are subject to the regulation and review of the executive committee; which serve as experts on behalf of the entire industry . That is the benefit for us IATA is concerned with that collection and with many of the airlines common problems in regard to currency and exchange taxation charges; insurance and statics . That’s the added benefit. M1 ; M2 ; M3

Slide 69:

UFTAA is also helpful to us it deals with all travel industry members or improved professional techniques for the benefit of the travel industry. All these organization provides you safe; economical journey with many services and comforts. If these organization are not there than airline could not control the problems regarding industry and that indirectly affects you as a passenger so it can be said that these organization are for aviation industry.

History of Belgium :

History of Belgium The area of present-day Belgium has seen significant demographic, political and cultural upheavals over the course of two millennia. In the first century, the Romans, after defeating the local tribes, created the province of Gallia Belgica. A gradual immigration by Germanic Frankish tribes during the 5th century, brought the area under the rule of the Merovingian kingdom. A gradual shift of power during the 8th century evolved into the Carolingian Empire and culminated with the coronation of Charlemagne as ruler of The Holy Roman Empire. During the Middle Ages small feudal states emerged, many of which rejoined as the Burgundian Netherlands in the 14th and 15th centuries. Emperor Charles V completed the union of the Seventeen Provinces in the 1540s, and unofficially also controlled the Prince-Bishopric of Liège.

Tourist attractions of Belgium :

Tourist attractions of Belgium Outside of Oostende, alongside the beach between Oostende and Middelkerke is the 'Raversijde Domain'. This is the domain where Prince Karel, brother of King Leopold III and regent of Belgium in the aftermath of W.W.II, spent a large part of his life. It consists of a large group of dunes. Because of the fact that 'Raversijde' remained untouched by the tourist phenomenon it has now become a very valuable natural reserve. The main attraction, however, is the so-called 'Atlantikwall‘ . This is an impressive complex of tunnels and bunkers built by the German troops in both the First and the Second World War. Raversijde Domain

Mercator Ship :

Mercator Ship In the Yacht-Harbor lies the Mercator Ship. This ship is a floating museum that is always ready to sail out on an expedition. The Mercator was the ship that was used by the Belgian Navy for the instruction of the military sailors and navy-men. This three-master was built in 1931, cost 3 million Belgian Francs and weighs 778 tons. It was used by the Belgian Navy until 1960. Since 1961 it serves as a museum. The Mercator took part in several exotic expeditions, most of them from scientific nature (e.g. to the Easter Islands, the Marquise Islands, Iceland and the North Pole area ) In 1936 the ship brought back to Belgium the remains of Father Damian, a Belgian priest who had dedicated his life to the plight of the lepers in Molokai, Hawaii, where he had died.

A HISTORY of FRANCE :

A HISTORY of FRANCE France is an independent nation in Western Europe and the center of a large overseas administration. It is the third-largest European nation (after Russia and Ukraine). In ancient times France was part of the Celtic territory known as Gaul or Gallia. Its present name is derived from the Latin Francia, meaning "country of the Franks," a Germanic people who conquered the area during the 5th century, at the time of the fall of the Western Roman Empire. It became a separate country in the 9th century. Since the 17th century, France has played a major role in European and world events. In the 20th century, it has experienced numerous crises, including the devastation of two world wars, political and social upheavals, and the loss of a large empire in Indochina, Algeria, and West and Equatorial Africa.

Tourist Attraction of France :

History of Germany :

History of Germany The History of Germany begins with the establishment of the nation from Ancient Roman times to the 8th century[citation needed], and then continues into the Holy Roman Empire dating all the way from the 9th century until 1806. At its largest, the territory of this empire included what today is Germany, Austria, Slovenia, the Czech Republic, western Poland, the Low Countries, eastern France, Switzerland and most of northern Italy. After the mid 16th century, when it had lost many former territories, it was known as the "Holy Roman Empire of the German Nation". This was followed by the German Confederation of 1815–1866, the German Empire of 1871–1918, and the Weimar Republic of 1919–1933. Then came Adolf Hitler's German Reich also known as Nazi Germany or Third Reich of 1933–1945 and the devastations of World War II. The article concludes with the history of the post-war Federal Republic of Germany (West Germany) and the history of the German Democratic Republic (East Germany) from 1945 to 1990.

Tourist Attraction Germany :

Tourist Attraction Germany The name of what is arguably the greatest forests of Germany--the Black Forest--often conjures up images of a dark, sinister place. Don't let the name fool you. The Black Forest in Germany is one of the best places you can go to explore some of the natural beauty the country has to offer. Sitting in the south west corner of the state of Baden-Württemberg, the Black Forest borders France, Switzerland, and the Neckar River. The forest itself straddles the continental divide, with the Atlantic watershed which is drained by the Rhine to one side and the Black Sea watershed which is drained by the Danube to the other. The Black Forest

Potsdamer Platz :

Potsdamer Platz Potsdamer Platz is a symbol of both the past and the future for Berlin, Germany. During the 1920s and 1930s, Potsdamer Platz was a bustling and important Berlin attraction in not just Germany, but in all of Europe. Public transportation was routed through Berlin Potsdamer Platz and there were more cafés, movie theaters, and bars than you could count. However, in 1943, during the second World War, Potsdamer Platz was reduced to rubble during Allied bombing raids. The square became no-man's land between the Russian, American, and British quarters of the city. Potsdamer Platz was completely destroyed in 1961 with the building of the Berlin Wall.

History of Italy :

History of Italy Italy, united in 1861, has significantly contributed to the cultural and social development of the entire Mediterranean area, deeply influencing European culture as well. Important cultures and civilizations have existed there since prehistoric times. After Magna Graecia, the Etruscan civilization and especially the Roman Republic and Empire that dominated this part of the world for many centuries came an Italy whose people would make immeasurable contributions to the development of European philosophy, science, and art during the Middle Ages and the Renaissance. Dominated by city-states for much of the medieval and Renaissance period, the Italian peninsula was eventually unified amidst much struggle in the 19th and 20th centuries.

Tourist Attraction Italy :

Tourist Attraction Italy The principal tourist attractions of Ischia are its beaches, sea and spa resorts. The green hilly landscape is attractive, as are the little fishing ports, and you can enjoy a pleasant holiday without seeking out more developed attractions. Time can be happily spent taking boat trips, seeing the island by bus or enjoying food and drink on panoramic terraces above the sea. However, there are some particular sights which are worth seeing if you're staying in Ischia for a few days. our Ischia Ponte and Castello Aragonese

Language and locals :

Language and locals Italians do not all speak English, although many have learnt it at school. If you are outside major tourist destinations it will be helpful to speak some Italian, however basic, and to carry around a phrase book or dictionary to aid communication. Meeting people is one of the pleasures of travelling off the beaten track. Even if you barely speak Italian, it can still be possible to make new acquaintances and be greeted as a regular in a village restaurant on your second visit. It is friendly to greet shopkeepers when entering a shop, fellow travellers in a train compartment, and in some remoter areas we've been charmed by friendly greetings from mere passers-by on village lanes.

Alternate ways to travel in Schengen countries The following four European Countries have been chosen for your travel package : 1.Belgium 2. France 3. Germany 4.
