If your PSAP is not an EMD center transferring E-911 callers with medical emergencies to a secondary PSAP is CRITICAL:

EMD Pre-Arrival Instructions: The EMD process including providing life saving Medical interventions: Do NOT delay the response of EMS personnel. Continues after the units have been dispatched. Monitors the situation and updates the responders accordingly. Decreases the time it takes for care to begin; this is critical in Cardiac/Respiratory arrests!

REMEMBER :: 

REMEMBER : Stay on the line with the caller until you are sure that the location information has been confirmed by the secondary PSAP . Once the caller is transferred an EMD can immediately begin to identify & mitigate life threatening situations increasing the chances of a positive outcome in medical emergencies.
