What he did Walt Disney was a big sensation in the entertainment industry . He mainly worked along the lines of animation . He has his own tv channel. He has his own amusement park, Disney World .

Who is he ?: 

Who is he ? Walter Elias Disney was born on December 5, 1901 in Chicago. When Walter was born him and his family moved to Marceline, Missouri His fathers name was Elias Disney. Walter’s father was an Irish-Canadian His mothers name was Flora Call Disney Walters mom was of German-American descent. Walter had four other siblings , there was 4 boys and 1 girl .

About him: 

About him Walter always loved drawing and art. He would sell his drawings to his neighbors at age seven. When he was little he convinced his sister to help him painted the side of his house with tar.

Early days : 

Early days Walter worked with the railroad, selling popcorn, beverages ,and newspaper to travelers. Walt went to McKinley High School . At night he went to the Academy of Fine Arts .

Later on: 

Later on Walter and his family later on moved to Kansas City . Disney , enlisted for military service but got rejected because he was under age. Since Walter was on 16 when he got rejected the decided to join the red cross.

How things started: 

How things started Everything started when Walter saw his first movie house on Marceline's Main Street . He started to have an enthusiasm in animals , community , and family. Later on when he came back from France with his red cross career he wanted to pursue a career in commercial art.

Walters first creations. : 

Walters first creations. The Alice Comedies was one of Walter’s first creations. New York bought his comedies and that set him straight to Hollywood .

Start of something new: 

Start of something new Three years after both of his daughters got married he created the animated character Mickey Mouse Walter won a studio academy award for his cartoons of Flowers and Tree After that “Snow White” was created . On December 21, 1937 , it featured in the Los Angeles theater . From then on it led to all his creations like Pinocchio, Fantasia, Dumbo, and Bambi.
