The school is classified as advanced tech which means that they are almost to the state standard for technology implementation in the school.
Conclusion:
For this school year the chart showed that we were highest in leadership, administration and instructional support. I think that this is a good assessment of our school. We have a good administration that plans out for the use of technology in our school. We have a strong technology budget and use it every year to try and incorporate as mush new and use full technology as we can to help our students. We have had grants and budget allotments for the new technology that we get trained on how to use every year. Another area that we were equally as high was infrastructure for technology. We as a district have a strong technology team and a good intranet system in place that is always being updated. We have campus labs open to students as wells as computers on wheels which allows us to have class sets of computers for the different classes to use and new this year the teachers all get new promethean boards. Our biggest weakness from the chart was the teaching and learning key. The biggest thing with this is the student’s mastery of how to use the new technology that we are getting on our campuses. We are getting good and new technology but we don’t have all the training that we need to be able to show the kids how to properly use what we have for our classes. We as teachers know how to use it but not all of us can use it effectively enough to explain to the students how to use it. Conclusion
