Stress:

Tension The force that makes the earth go bake and forth.

Compression: 

Compression This happens when two plates come together and smash together.

Strike-slip-fault The strike-slip-fault is the fault that builds energy when it is pulled back. It goes back and forth not side to side.

Plateau A plateau is an area of land that is high and flat like a plain.

Tsunami A tsunami is a big wave that occur when an earthquake happens under- water.

Seismogram A seismogram measures the size of the earthquake.

Focus: 

Focus The focus is where the real earthquake starts and then it moves it up.

Shearing: 

Shearing Is when the rock goes up and down on a slant.

Normal Fault: 

Normal Fault A normal fault is a fault that moves out and goes up and down on a slant.
