At first I thought Psyche Lagoon was a man made lagoon for testing purposes but then when Graeme told us it was a lagoon to stop most of the salinity I was fascinated . First Impressions
The reason ‘Why’?:
The reason ‘Why’? The reason why the lagoon was made was to reduce the salt going into the river. The water was so salty it was acidic. It was more than 2 x saltier than the sea .
Acidified:
Acidified Psyche Lagoon is an acidified lagoon, meaning it was made to stop salinity.
Psyche Pumps:
Psyche Pumps Psyche Pumps is a pump to get water out of the river and disperse it to farmers and to the citizens of Mildura.
