INTRODUCTION: 

INTRODUCTION Recruitment originally meant reinforcement . Selection is preference from among choices. Recruitment & selection procedure set out how to ensure as far as possible, that the bet people are recruited on merit & that the recruitment process is free from bias & discrimination .recruitment & selection allow management to determine & gradually modify the behavioral characteristics & competence of the workforce. Recruitment & selection is the series of hurdles aimed at selecting the best candidate for the job.

MEANING: 

MEANING RECRUITMENT is the process of searching the candidates for employment & stimulating them to apply for jobs in the organization. SELECTION is the process of differentiating between applicants in order to identify & hire those with a grater like hood of success or the jobs. the objective of selection decision is to choose the individual who can most successfully perform the job from the pool of qualified candidates.

IMPORTANCE: 

IMPORTANCE Help to increase success rate. Determine the present & future requirements in conjunctions with personnel planning & job analysis activities. Recruitment & selection process help the employers to find best employee. Help to reduce probability. Help to increase organization & individual effectiveness. Attract & encourage candidate.

OBJECTIVE Recruitment & selection include a variety of components related to finding ,hiring & retaining qualified employees. Recruitment consists of attracting capable individuals using methods such as outsourcing & the internet . Selection objective consist of evaluation ,techniques such as interviews, background checks & competence.
