Chalice brings hope to over 45,000 children and elderly in 48 sponsor sites and in 15 countries. Expressions of faith are openly demonstrated through daily prayer, Mass, scripture readings, and songs.Education at Mbinga Chalice site Tanzania : Education at Mbinga Chalice site Tanzania Until 2007, there was no access to school at the Mbangamao sub site. Now there are 163 children attending school. Chalice has built, in 2011, a 4 classroom primary school (grades 1 to 7) donated by a Timmins, ON Chalice donor. Chalice supports ground breaking for secondary school (grades 8 to 12). Chalice provides the schools and the government provides the teachers.Education : continued : Education : continued Chalice has newly built a dormitory, dining hall, and recreational facilities. Chalice has recently built a fully equipped lavatory for students. All new Chalice facilities are blessed by the local Bishop.Hospital Tanzania: Hospital Tanzania Chalice supports a 11 room prenatal/postnatal/ pediatric dispensary. It staffs a doctor, clinical officer, nurses and lab technicians. Mondays and Fridays are the busiest days with 40 to 60 patients treated per day. Chalice sponsors an expansion of 12 beds. A labour room, pharmacy, laboratory, incubators, and counselling services will be welcomed additions.
