Terms Circle – A circle is a set of points on a flat surface with ever point an equal distance from the center.
Chord – A chord is a line segment connecting any two points on a circle.
Diameter – A diameter is a chord that goes through the center of a circle.
Radius – A radius is a segment from the center of a circle to any point on the circle. Two radii end-to-end form a diameter of a circle.
Circumference – A circumference is the distance around or the perimeter of a circle.
