Introduction : 

Introduction My name is Kai and I am a traveling journalist. My boss is giving me a trip of a life time to write a column. I either get to go to the Africa or the T ropical R ain F orest. Africa Tropical Rain Forest

Africa: 

Africa I pack my bag for a boiling temperature climate in the Safari. When I land we set up camp for a weeks adventure. The next morning we decided to take a hike. There were two different trails to choose from, a rocky outback or flat dirt fields. Rocky Outback Flat D irt Fields

Rocky Outback: 

Rocky Outback We climbed across a land with boulders here and there but one was so huge when we looked behind it there was an Indian Village! I started writing about the beautiful landscape right away in my journal. One of my teammates spoke their language and he said they invited us to a ritual ceremony celebrating our arrival. Flat Dirt Fields: 

Flat Dirt Fields Another Week Go Home We each grabbed a metal detector hoping to find something unique. As we head down the flat fields of dirt, I hear a beeping noise coming from my device. I get out my shovel and start digging. To my luck I found an old coin worth keeping. Our week ends but we are given a choice to stay for another week or go home.

Back At Camp: 

Back At Camp Back at camp my friends and I pack up our things and have our crew pick us up and take us home. Ending

Another Week : 

Another Week We travel all the landscapes around us and I write about the scenes in front of me and the cold of night. We kept metal detecting but nothing turned up but some loose dirt. The experience was amazing though… we saw giraffes, African B ulls, and wild loins. Ending

Go Home: 

Go Home As I’m at home I have my journal edited and am appreciating the civilized life back home! Ending

Tropical Rain Forest : 

Tropical Rain Forest I left for the airport at 6:00 A.M. in the morning. We boarded and were waiting for our turn to take off. After an hour of flying over the beautiful deep blue sea, the pilot announced over the intercom that we were crash landing in the middle of the wild jungle. Our plane crashed an blew up in flames we were now on our own in the wild. We could stay by the plane or travel through the jungle. Stay by the Plane Travel through the Jungle

Stay with the Plane: 

Stay with the Plane Two passengers are severely injured and need medical attention fast! Myself and a lady from row 24B went to find wood for fire and gather water but we only have time for one before night approaches. Find Wood Gather Water

Travel through the Jungle : 

Travel through the Jungle All the surviving beings gather their jackets and head into the jungle. As night falls nothing is keeping us warm and it begins to rain. In the distance we can hear wild animals roaring. We can either split up and hide in trees or make one giant shelter. Split Up Make Shelter

Separate in Trees: 

Separate in Trees The roaring is getting closer so we split in groups and find trees to climb in. All of us are weak from all the ciaos and try to rest. The next morning a rescue team finds us and takes us home. Home

Build Giant Shelter: 

Build Giant Shelter It took us about three hours to find materials and build the shelter. All night long we take shifts to stay up and keep a look out for animals that might think we are a meal. In the morning all of us were exhausted but we still continued to move on. We came upon a camp sight with an photography team that had special devices that got signals to the city. That evening a large plane came to pick us up and were taken home. Ending

Find Wood: 

Find Wood I try to climb a tree with dry bark near its branches and I can see three people walking about a yard away. I quickly climb down and start to run. The lady follows me. When we approach them they tell us they are medical assistants and are on a rescue search for a crashed plane. We show them our camp and and are rescued. Back Home

Gather Water: 

Gather Water As we are walking though the jungle we can hear a stream near by. As we get closer we see a helicopter fly by. We wave our arms and it comes and lands. We tell them what happened and we show them were the plane is. Then they take us home. Home
