ON THE NEXT SLIDE IS AN EXAMPLE OF A STRENGTH TRAINING PERSONAL EXERCISE PROGRAMME:- Slide 20: MUSCULAR ENDURANCE- The ability to use the voluntary muscles many times without getting tired. Slide 26: NCF- ENDURANCE Slide 27: HOW DO YOU IMPROVE MUSCULAR ENDURANCE ? CIRCUIT TRAINING is a good example of how to improve muscular endurance. Slide 33: Another example is weight training. Here lighter weights are used but a higher number of repetitions are carried out. REPETITIONS AND SETS form the basis of training to improve both muscular strength and endurance. A REPETITION is one exercise of a particular movement. A SET is a number of repetitions of a particular exercise.
