OBSERVATIONS.: 

Since company is only about 5 yrs old they try to manage every thing in very simple manner to get benefited. Earlier they were not able to heir people specialized in marketing because of finance or their initial investment . Marketing people only finalizes deals and fixes price i.e. they are not having team of specialized people for negotiation. They never arrange seminars or training sessions for their employee . 19 OBSERVATIONS .

Smooth &Efficient working in customer service. Skilled employees ( cs ). The software they are using to keep regular updates is SAP but the problem is this software requires specialized people. Any delay in providing proper information at right time may cause problem to client for in having idea about movement of containers. 20 Cont...

When client themselves arranges transportation it helps company to reduce paper work , but when client asks company to arrange transportation facility for them, then they get engaged in many responsibilities, in such cases any problem in providing transportation to pick up containers on behalf of client may hamper their delivery time. 21 Cont...

RECOMMENDATION.: 

Since in every organization success is totally depend on their employees, Employees should be provided with proper training and motivation from their managers. They should heir specialized people in marketing Dept. which will help them to increase no of customers through their practical and theoretical knowledge as well in better marketing and promotion. Along with marketing team they should have special team of skilled people for better and beneficial negotiation. 22 RECOMMENDATION .

They should give proper guidance to the employees for handling SAP as they can not afford to heir specialized people to operate this or else if they don’t want to arrange training session they need to heir few specialized people to handle all the problems as well to train employees. As customers ask for regular updates till the containers reaches to the final destination they have to be very accurate with their information by keeping check on the movement of containers they should arrange employees according to ships to be able to give right information at right time to the customer. 23 Cont...

In case of arranging transportation for client they have to be very quick in their function. They need to keep check on their transportation services before dealing with client, if company is not ready with arrangements that will cause problem to the client in sending their cargos at right time which will ultimately create problems in payment. 24 Cont…

CONCLUSION.: 

Process mapping is a versatile and valuable method of data collection that can be used in many different applications of “Business Process Technology”. It offers a straightforward view of work processes and makes it easy to identify both work requirements as well as obstacles to good performance. Hereby we could able to learn entire business processes , how business follows it , what are the advantages of process mapping and how it helps in improving existing conditions in an organization also the disadvantages of process mapping etc. 25 CONCLUSION .
