What does it take to be a survivor or to overcome obstacles successfully? Determination In order to overcome obstacles successfully you have to want to succeed, and let anything or any obstacle get in your way. Faith Faith is needed to overcome obstacles, because you have to believe you can do anything and succeed. Courage You also have to have courage to overcome obstacles, because you can’t let fear keep you from your destination. Enrique was very determined on his journey to find his mother and he had a lot of faith that he was going to get to her. I have faith in myself because it is nearly impossible to do something if you don’t believe you can. One of my favorite quotes : “Reach for the stars, and you will go far “.

What personal qualities are helpful in handling obstacles? Desire and determination are helpful In handling obstacles. No matter how hard obstacles hit Enrique he went back on the same dangerous journey, and he was determined to get to her no matter what. He never let anything get in his way or try to stop him. The only way I myself can achieve something is I have to be determined to do it otherwise I will procrastinate.

Which physical resources (support, time, etc.) are necessary to overcome life's challenges? Support, time, energy are necessary to overcome life’s challenges. Enrique was able to endure a lot of pain from being beaten by gang members, and he most definitely had a lot of time on his hands and strength. Enrique reminds me of my self because when I want something I go get it.
