During 6th period, two other females entered the bathroom to discover what they claimed to be a bloody fetus in a toilet. They went immediately to talk to the school psychologist and assistant principal about what they saw in the bathroom. They claimed they might know who was responsible for it.What exactly was seen and where?: What exactly was seen and where? Two female girls claimed to have seen blood all over the girl's bathroom on the third floor. They also claim to have seen a fetus in the toilet.Were there any teachers or staff present? Anyone else?: Were there any teachers or staff present? Anyone else? No teachers, staff, or other students were present in the bathroom during the incident that we know of.Were the students reporting something they actually saw or something they heard?: Were the students reporting something they actually saw or something they heard? The two girls were reporting to the assistant principal and school psychologist what they saw within the bathroom. The girls also stated that they might know who was responsible in this incident. They saw a girl earlier in the cafeteria crying and complaining about cramps during fourth period lunch.Where and who is the student who might be responsible? How do you locate her?: Where and who is the student who might be responsible? How do you locate her? The female who was responsible was the girl who was crying about menstrual cramps and stomach pain during fourth period lunch to her friends. We could locate her by obtaining a copy of her schedule from the Guidance or Main Office.What was the reaction of the female who was linked to the incident?: What was the reaction of the female who was linked to the incident? We don't really know the reaction of the female who was linked to the incident.Should the police be called? Ambulance? Other school personnel?: Should the police be called? Ambulance? Other school personnel? The nurse and an ambulance should be called immediately to check the safety of the female student. The paramedics should also check on the status of the fetus. Both the female student and the fetus should be taken to the hospital for an evaluation. A police report should be filed of the incident.Should a phone call be made to the parents of the accused female?: Should a phone call be made to the parents of the accused female? A phone call home to the parents of the accused female should be placed immediately to make them aware of the situation.Are there any other elements that need to be addressed in this case study?: Are there any other elements that need to be addressed in this case study? Were there any other witnesses to what was discovered in the bathroom? Is the girl in question in medical distress? Is there any evidence the girl in question had been pregnant? If so, was she aware of the pregnancy? Were her parents? A staff meeting will be conducted after school to discuss the incident. The name of the student will be kept strictly confidential. A discussion on how to talk with students about this incident will be discussed. With parent permission, the school counselor will set up counseling sessions with the female.
