Jumbo-Trons were set up to show the Lincoln Memorial for Sunday’s concert, then moved up and flipped around for viewing of the Swearing In on Tuesday

Presidential Portrait :Presidential Portrait The HOPE portrait of Obama is on display at the National Portrait Gallery. Up close viewing reveals that it is a collage with various textures.

Getting In… :Getting In… While crowds waited to get into the secured area near the Lincoln Memorial, Obama (maybe?) arrives by Limo.

The Jumbo-Trons (outside the secured area) were effective in letting the crowd enjoy the energy of the show. Garth Brooks (not pictured) got the entire crowd singing along to “American Pie” and dancing to “Shout!”
Obama Speaks :Obama Speaks After several shots of him bopping his head and singing along to the various performers, then-President-Elect Obama said a few words about coming together and changing America.

Though the venue looked very nice, appetizers were light, drinks were served in plastic cups, and there was a cash bar.
