DANIEL C., BRIGHTON The GGEC team did a great home energy assessment of our home! They identified our problem areas and gave us a detailed report with fixes for each problem. Adam then came back with his team of professionals and solved the issues they had identified as problem areas in my home. He then coordinated with other contractors to fix areas of concern that he couldn't do himself. Once completed he returned to my home for a re-test for air leakage to access and fine tune any area that still showed air leakage. They reduced the air leakage by 50%, which made our house way less drafty. Adam also informed us that Consumers Energy has a program that will pay us money to help off set the cost of the improvements to our home. Our first contact with Adam was in December 2010 and instead of coming out to do the audit in December he suggested we wait until January to qualify for the program. We waited and the result was a $1,400 rebate check. That is

DAVID O., FRANKLIN We had Go Green Energy Consulting come out to do a home energy audit on our house because we had some cold rooms and bad ice damming on the roof. I have had to hire crews to come out and shovel my roof & chop away the ice because of water leaking into the house. We paid a lot for attic insulation last winter, yet the problem persisted and we didn't see any change in our gas bills. While inspecting our attic, Go Green discovered that the attic insulation was installed incorrectly, leaving many gaps. With the thermal images from the energy audit as evidence, we were able to confront the insulation company, who promptly returned to redo the insulation for free! Now, the cold rooms are noticeably warmer, we have no ice buildup, and we can't wait to see our next heating bill. The guys from Go Green were terrific!
