The Certificate IV in OHS Flexible delivery course has been designed for students who want to fast track to obtain their qualification. This course requires more independent work from the student, and is also as academically rigorous as a course delivered on campus. Students who study this course part-time would normally attend 12 hours of classes per week for a total of 36 weeks. If you choose to do this course by Flexible delivery you are choosing NOT to attend these classes but need to do the equivalent amount of independent study and research to reach the same outcomes. Students who choose this method of study have the flexibility of studying in their own time; assignments have recommended deadline dates and students are highly encouraged to complete assignments on those dates, so they do not fall behind. When students enrol in a Flexible delivery course they will receive a package containing the study material, assignment details and research references. Students will then need to work through the study guide and submit assignments. This course is a mixture of class day attendance (see dates below) and self paced study. Students must complete ALL units within 12 months from commencement of course.
