Pet ownership is very common with close to 63 percent of all households containing a pet. Close to 85 million of those animals are cats . Of this number many of these cats are homeless without a home or food. 3 to 4 million animals and 70 percent of those are cats. (ASPCA-Pet Statistics) With Kroger’s support there will be a great deed done by providing for these hundreds of millions of cats and that live in an environment where they are not fed on a regular basis. Where love may be absent in their life, Kroger can make a substantial change that improves the lives of cats just by providing a charitable donation.
