Premium member Presentation Transcript Silent Auction Fundraiser for the American Heart Association: Silent Auction Fundraiser for the American Heart AssociationAbout Kendall Tate and services: About Kendall Tate and services I studied at Northern Arizona University and graduated with a degree in Hotel and Restaurant Management. I am now getting my certification in Event and Meeting Planning. I am a very creative, inventive, energetic and organized person. I am good at thinking outside of the box. I have planned several fundraisers, a wedding, surprise parties and meetings.Introduce the Event: Introduce the Event The main goal of this event is to raise the donation this year by 5% from last year by giving the guests an amazing product that makes them feel inspired. There will be many different auction items donated to us by several retailer around the area. 1. 42” Samsung Flat Screen TV 2. A ski weekend at Wilmot Mountain ski resort 3. 18- hole round of golf 4. 2 tickets to a Cubs game and $50 food voucher 5. Spa package 6. Pedicure and Manicure 7. Blu-Ray player and 2 movies 8. A signed basketball 9. Romantic night at the culinary institute with babysitting services included 10. Seminar at Rock Bottom Beer School 11. 5-night Western Caribbean Cruise for two 12. Basket with wine, chocolate and 2 wine glasses 13. 1 year Gym MembershipThe Vision: The Vision For people to feel inspired to donate. To give a product that is exceptional enough for people to feel compelled to donate and inspired to donate. I want to have stories being told of the impact of this organization on peoples lives and the lives of their family ; enough that it makes these people want to act. I want to raise a vast amount of donation to help the American Heart Association do superior contributions for the greater good.What the guests will experience: What the guests will experience The Theme is : Around the World. There will be 13 different auction items for them to bid on. There will be 7 action stations with different types of food from different countries. There will be on a 20ft by 20ft projector screen going with people from all over speaking about how the AHA has affected them in someway. Half way through there will be a live band and a dance floor for them to dance on.Geographic information: Geographic information The Silent Auction fundraiser for the American Heart Association will take place in Chicago, Illinois on April 30, 2012 at the Navy Pier in the Lakeview Terrace. The event will start at 7pm and end at 10:30pm. There will be Free Valet Parking for the guests because parking is very tight at this venue . There will be 250 people attending this function .Client Objective: Client Objective The event must cost between $10,000 and $150,000. The event can span no longer than 4-days and no less than 2 hours. The event must be for a minimum of 75 people. The event must take place in the United States . Increase the donation from last years fundraiser.Program Structure- Schedule/itinerary: Program Structure- Schedule/itinerary Doors open 7:00pm American Heart Association Speaker 7:20pm-7:45pm Guests start browsing auction items 7:45pm-8:00pm Cooks start food at stations 8:00pm- 9:30pm Testimonies from people around the world that have been impacted by AHA 8:10pm- 8:40pm Band starts 8:45pm-10:00pm Ending Remarks by AHA repetitive 10:00pm-10:20pm Setup 5:00pm-6:40pm Team meeting with everyone 6:40pm-6:55pm Take down 10:30-12:00amProgram Inclusions: Program Inclusions Silent Auction American Heart Association Speaker Testimonies from people that have been affected by AHA 7 different food stations with food from all around the world Here is what the centerpieces will look like but instead of having clear decorative marbles at the bottom each table will have colors from a flag from a different country in the bottom.
