D EXAMINATION PATTERNIntroduction: Introduction The intent of the this presentation is to introduce the new examination pattern for XI standard effective from Academic Year 2011-12Examination Structure: Examination Structure 1st Term a) Internal Assessment = 25 marks this includes Tutorial/Seminar/MCQs test/General test anyone or a combination of various options. 1st Exam(written): b) 50 Marks – 2 ½ hours Section I + Section II OR 35 marks= Theory Section I + Section II 2 hours 15 marks =Practical 1 hour Therefore Candidate will be examined for 75 marks in 1st term. Note : No project is to be given in the first term 2nd Term c) Internal Assessment for 25 marks(Tutorials/Seminar/MCQs/General test) anyone or a combination of various options.Examination Structure: Examination Structure Annual Exam d)100 marks 70 marks for theory- 3 hours duration and 30 marks for practicals /project – 3 hours duration Theory 70 marks=3 hours=one question paper , Section I - botany-35 marks, Section II Zoology 35 m Separate answer paper for section I and II. Annual Result: a+b+c+d/2 = 25+50+25+100/2=200/2=100 marksPoints to be remembered: Points to be remembered While framing question paper for annual exam, 20% questions should be based upon the syllabus covered in 1st term Junior college has freedom to conduct internal assessment for more than 25 marks, however marks should be converted out of 25 marks only.
