Operational Plan : 

Operational Plan Opened in August 2001 Exclusive School Usage During the School Day Managed by School Community & Club use Monday to Friday evenings and all day Saturdays to 5:00pm Managed by Lisburn City Council Available during School Holidays to LCC No Sunday Opening.

Operational Plan : 

Operational Plan Maintenance carried out by SEELB Insurance Issue LCC met own staff costs 65% of Maintenance & Insurance Costs met by LCC Based on Hours Usage LCC meet all Energy Costs LCC gets the Income

Management Structure : 

Management Structure Executive Committee 3 – 4 times per year LCC, SEELB, School, Club & Community representatives. Serviced by Council & School Officials Daily/On Going management LCC Manager and 3 Part Time Duty Officers Made ready for school use next day Liaise with school as and when Bookings at another Council facility No Money at Laurelhill

Usage : 

Usage High demand Evenings by Clubs & Youth Sports Development Midnight Soccer Venue IFA Grass Roots Soccer Centre South Antrim Hockey Club Home Pitch Strong Demand for more hours for soccer Strong Demand for more hours from South Antrim Currently over 900 Users per week, not including school use

Issues/Lessons Learnt : 

Issues/Lessons Learnt Legal Agreement finalised 2 years after opening Interface of LCC & SEELB Revenue Funding not seamless. Usage by other schools not realised - Transport Sunday Opening to be reviewed. Carpet to be replaced probably 2-3 years.

Future Development : 

Future Development Article 40 – Planning gain – Matched funding to upgrade Dust Pitch to 3G Location of Basketball/Volleyball Olympic 2012 elite Facility – Stage II School use of New Centre/Sports Teaching New Legal Agreement Growing the Partnership
