Michelle , daughter of Fraser and Marian Robinson, grew up with her father, mother and older brother, Craig. The current first lady graduated from Princeton in 1985 then from Harvard Law School in 1988. Her father was a city pump operator and a democratic precinct captain, her mother was Spiegel secretary who eventually stayed home to raise both her children. After graduating Harvard Michelle joined the Chicago law firm Sidley & Austin where she met her husband. Michelle and her family have a private home in Kenwood, Chicago aside from where they are currently residing, The White House.
