1. Fill your mind with the fear-eliminating words of the Bible.:
1. Fill your mind with the fear-eliminating words of the Bible. There is an enormous power in the words of the Scriptures. The Bible says, 'If ye abide in me, and my words abide in you, ye shall ask what ye will, and it shall be done unto you (John 15:7). Repeat the passage many times during the day, conceiving of it as dropping your conscious into your unconscious by a process of spiritual osmosis. Visualize your unconscious as grasping it and fully absorbing it into your personality. If you truly absorb this and live by them, you will definitely gain control over worry.
2. Trust God and live a day at a time.:
2. Trust God and live a day at a time. To pass through the path of life with flying color , one must have a strong faith in the Lord, no matter how small it might be, even it be as small as a mustard seed.
3. Cultivate the attitude of boldness.:
3. Cultivate the attitude of boldness. Obviously, the worrier is not a bold person; but boldness can be cultivated. The first step is to start thinking in terms of boldness. Undertake some constructive thing that frightens you; but think boldly about it. Picture yourself as boldly attacking and overcoming your fears. As the late Grove Patterson, one of America's greatest newspaper editors said: 'When a man has quietly made up his mind that there is nothing he cannot endure, his fears leave him.'
4. Simply take your worries to God and leave them there. :
4. Simply take your worries to God and leave them there. At night before going to bed, sit in a chair, let your hands drop over the arms of the chair and relax your whole body. Then say the following each three times: ' Tranquility , serenity, quietness, peace, faith, love, joy.' Have a habit of
happiness, expecting the good, never give up, and trusting the living God.'
5. Decide to stop worrying.:
5. Decide to stop worrying. Indeed, life is what we make it. If you want your day to be sunny, full of hopes, and worry free, it can be. If you want your day to be gloomy and full of fears, it can also be. The choice is yours. Each one of us has the options to make our day great or another rotten existence in this side of the earth.
