Premium member Presentation Transcript Online Staff Meeting : Online Staff Meeting November 15, 2010 Agenda : Agenda Assessments Thanksgiving Holiday Classroom Environment Writing Samples (Portfolio) Perfect Attendance Tutorials Teacher Evaluations Questions or Concerns Assessments : Assessments Please make sure you are assessing both TAKS reading and math each week We will be conducting assessments on Friday. Please inform all parents of Mid-Term Assessments on this Friday. All students in 2nd – 8th Grade must have reading and math STAR scores by Monday of next week (November 22, 2010) Thanksgiving Holiday : Thanksgiving Holiday All teachers will be off Thursday and Friday in observance of Thanksgiving All Charter staff must report to work on Wednesday, November 24 at 7:30am (Short Day) Classroom Environments : Classroom Environments Please keep your rooms clean at all times Please plan cooking activities and create an environment that suggest what you are learning Writing Samples : Writing Samples Have students create a Writing Journal to keep samples of writing (not handwriting) in order to show progress over time. Each student should have at least 3 samples thus far. Perfect Attendance : Perfect Attendance Please continue to email me your perfect attendance 5th and 6th Grade, 2nd Grade has been the only teachers thus far. Tutorials : Tutorials Please inform parents there will not be Tutorials next week. Make sure a note goes home with the students by Friday.
