Delegates: 97 Profile of delegates: Mostly small/ medium sized Indian companies. Some large Indian companies like Tata, TVS. Some multi-national companies like Canon. Some academics like IIT (K). Format: Class room seating in an auditorium where every delegate had a table space. Event promotion The event was highly promoted in India, Asia and rest of the world.

Event promotion Press releases Were issued and carried by trade publications and portals in India, Europe and the US. Advertisements Were published in The Economic Times and other publications in India. E-mailers E-mails were sent to about 60,000 Indian e-mail ids. These comprised of database of visitors to shows in India, Indian database of the Supporters of the event, IMI, and Xyanni.

Event promotion – contd. Printed brochures 2000 brochures were printed and distributed within India to the members of some associations like Manufacturers' Association of Information Technology, India, Screen Printers' Association of India, Indian database of IMI and Digital Textile, some contacts of UK Trade & Investment in India, other database in India. Phone calls An external agency was hired to make phone-calls and follow up with a select database. Personal network Some contacts were followed up personally. Website links Details of the event were uploaded on the websites of IMI, IMI Europe, Xyanni, MAIT, Indian portals, The Economic Times. Asia E-mails were sent to the Asia database of IM!. Global IMI listed this India event in its other brochures.
