What are blocks in moodle?: 

What are blocks in moodle? Blocks are banners that shows on every Moodle pages. The blocks have or includes courses within them that are clickable.

What is moodle? Moodle is an electronic learning tool for students to use to learn technology and to learn other stuff Moodle- stand for Modular Object Oriented Dynamic Learning Environment.

Where did the name Moodle come from?: 

Where did the name Moodle come from? The word Moodle is comes from Modular Object-Oriented Dynamic Learning Environment, although originally the M stood for 'Martin', named after Martin Dougiamas, the original developer.

How Does Moodle work?: 

How Does Moodle work? Moodle has many features expected from an e-learning platform including: Forums Content managing (resources) Quizzes with different kinds of questions Blogs Wikis Database activities Surveys Chat Glossaries Peer assessment

The Three Blocks Activities. Administration. Blogs.

The “Activities” Block: 

The 'Activities' Block One the first page when you first log into moodle you will find a box that says メACTIVITESモ and inside the box it will have a link that says forums, but within each course the links under that title will change. It will have links such as assignments, forums, glossaries, journals, resources, workshops, and ect. The activity blocks include assignments, chats, forums, journals, and resources. Using the activities block, you can see assignments that you missed, chat with anyone whoユs online, talk and create a topic in the forum, create a journal, and find resources. Teachers use this block to give any activities to students. The Students then could use this block by actually participating in each topic. To navigate to the activities block, you first log in and go into any class and find the block that say ACTIVITIES. The purpose of this block is to make students to use moodle more, learn about moodle, and get busy with moodle.it is an form in which you can check for assignments, and see your grades on quizzes and see how your doing in certain classes

The “Administration” Block: 

The 'Administration' Block a. This block include grades, activity report, and edit profile. b. Teachers use this block to tell the students how they are doing in each class by telling them their grade and activities they have been attending. c. Students use this block by clicking into each one of them and look at their improvements in each class. d. Log in, go to a class, and find the block that say ADMINISTRATION. e. The purpose of this block is to let students know their grades and how they are doing in each class.

The “Blogs” Block!!: 

The 'Blogs' Block!! It is an educational learning landscape open to the world to see our progress.To show students work and in which the way we learn to the whole world.Students can upload their work and have discussion in it on blogs. If we were to Search the URL- http://www.scienceleadership.org/elgg or go to moodle and click SLA main page and click ELGG. We can see how much work our SLA students have done and are proud of.
