Even then, the solid-state electronics will persist while accommodating evolving molecular electronics in hybrid computer systems until molecular/quantum systems become absolutely dominant. [November, 2004] It is not difficult to imagine a hypothetic “molecular analog” of solid-state element… But in general, it should be anticipated that molecular elements, when they will be created, would be able to process more complex functions than bit-by-bit data storage and processing. [1981] Molecular electronics – the research direction which “Ideal goal” is synthesis of molecules that would be able to conduct the elementary functions of the information transforming, alteration from solid-state systems to molecular systems functioning based on one-electron phonon-free transitions.Nanotechnology ≡ Great Unification of the Technologies : Nanotechnology ≡ Great Unification of the Technologies Evolution of Technologies or New History of the Time, V.F.Dorfman, Moscow, 1990Slide3: Evolution of Technologies or New History of the Time, V.F.Dorfman, Moscow, 1990Slide4: Nanotechnology also implies unification of most physical phenomena that we usually classify and use differently Evolution of Technologies or New History of the Time, V.F.Dorfman, Moscow, 1990Digit or analog OR digit & analog?: Digit or analog OR digit & analog?
