We trust His will… that it will bring about good, even when we cannot see it. 1 John 5:14-15 Slide13: 1 John 5:14-15 Now this is the confidence that we have in Him, that if we ask anything according to His will, He hears us. And if we know that He hears us, whatever we ask, we know that we have the petitions that we have asked of Him. Slide14: Thy Will Be Done 2. Why Must We Pray That His Will Be Done? Many times, His will is in conflict with ours. Throughout life we are striving to surrender to His will. We trust His will… that it will bring about good, even when we cannot see it. 1 John 5:14-15 When will we realize that real peace is found in total submission to His will… for His will is truly all about our GOOD WILL! Philippians 4:4-7 Slide15: Philippians 4:4-7 Rejoice in the Lord always. Again I will say, rejoice! Let your gentleness be known to all men. The Lord is at hand. Be anxious for nothing, but in everything by prayer and supplication, with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God; and the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and minds through Christ Jesus.
