Envision Utah :

Envision Utah Limitations

Slide22:

The Envision Utah was difficult to implement because people felt that it was a “socialist top-down” effort. Skepticism was a shared idea from community leaders who did not feel this kind of planning was necessary or appropriate for the area. Can only suggest planning strategies for municipalities to consider. Have to let local leaders learn that Envision Utah resources are to be adapted to according to local circumstances and interest. Limitations

Slide23:

Limitations Not a regional plan, it is a “Quality Growth Strategy. Envision Utah has no real authority. http://envisionutah.org/toolbox_pdf/Chapter_6.pdf
