Selection criteria: Selection criteria Different because the nature of the information is a directory, not medical Different meaning of “authority” on the local level Need to be more inclusive to be useful as a resource No blanket exclusion of commercial sites High priority given to local relevance Selection checklist: Selection checklist Brief, focusing on local aspects Easy to use Err on the side of inclusion Selection of the web site, not the health care service Judgment calls will be necessary Grounds for exclusion establishedLocal terms: Local terms 135 local terms developed Linked to MEDLINEplus topics Examples: Indexing issues: Indexing issues Level of granularity Local resources less stable?
