Chairperson’s Special Activities July 01 - Attended E-5 Committee on Radioactive Waste Management meeting in Las Vegas, Nevada August - Briefed the NRC Commission on CRCPD activities along with OAS (DC area) - Cindy Cardwell, Chair-elect November - Presented CRCPD Highlights at the New England Rad. Health Committee meeting in Keene, NH and presented the CRCPD highlights since the last meeting

Chairperson’s Special Activities Continued January 02 - Attended a planning session in Atlanta, GA, providing CRCPD input into CDC’s development of strategies for hospital emergency department from a radiological incident March - Attended OAS Executive Committee Meeting April - Sent congratulatory letter to new NCRP President, Thomas Tenforde

Special Initiatives May 2001 – Created an Outreach Task Force November – Chair, chair-elect & past chair would serve as Committee to work with OAS Board. December – The Board created an AdHoc Committee on Working Group Structure, with Cindy Cardwell as Chair, to review the existing working group structure

Special Initiatives Continued Feb ’02 – Board created, AdHoc Committee on Suggested State Regulations Development Following new charges: 1. Review & Evaluated the SSR 2.
