Premium member Presentation Transcript Slide 1: CPS Student Paced Mode Slide 2: Using the Student-Paced Mode The student-led mode allows students to work at their own pace. As with the teacher-led mode, questions are not displayed on the screen. Instead, students use a printed activity sheet, quiz, or test and answer at their own pace. Slide 3: Using the Student-Paced Mode To engage the Student-Paced mode, Select the “Engage” Tab, Then, “Lessons & Assignments” Open the folder containing the lesson, Last, click in the empty box beside the lesson to select it. Slide 4: Using the Student-Paced Mode Next, make sure the Lesson is correct. Select the type of assessment this is to be from the dropdown box, And select the class doing the activity. Slide 5: Using the Student-Paced Mode Click the Assessment Setup box From the dropdown, select “Student Paced” Then, click on “Engage Assessment” Slide 6: Using the Student-Paced Mode After clicking “Engage”, the response screen will appear. The teacher should now turn off the video projector so that the students cannot see the Feedback screen. (Projector is left on When using IR pads) Click “Start” to begin the session. Slide 7: Using the Student-Paced Mode As students respond to the questions, their response pads will show the question number that they are on and whether their answer was received. Students navigate between questions using < and >, and can change their answers at any time. Slide 8: Using the Student-Paced Mode As students enter their answers, their response indicators light up. Their response appears under the question column. The total number of questions attempted and number correct are displayed on the right side. Slide 9: Using the Student-Paced Mode When the last question has been completed, click “End”. When the box appears, click “Yes” to end the session and save the data.
