Using ExamView with CPS

Slide 2: 

To allow ExamView to run seamlessly with CPS, your ExamView test must be brought into CPS. Click on the “ Prepare ’ tab, then, on “ Classes & Students ” . Click on the folder in which you want to place the ExamView test, and then, on “ Add Fields ” . Using ExamView with CPS

When the Browser window appears, locate the folder where the test was stored and highlight the test. Click “ Open ” . Using ExamView with CPS

Your test will appear under the folder name, and the questions will be displayed on the right side. Using ExamView with CPS

You cannot edit the test, but certain options are available. Click on “ Settings ” , and then select “ ExamView Settings ” Using ExamView with CPS

In these boxes, you can filter out certain types of questions, Restore the default settings. Zoom in or out on questions or images Or change the standards to a different state. Click “ OK ” to finish. Using ExamView with CPS

To engage the ExamView test, select the “ Engage ” Tab, Then, “ Lessons & Assignments ” Open the folder containing the test, Last, click in the empty box beside the test to select it. Using ExamView with CPS

Next, click the “ Engage Options ” bar, Then, click on the “ Engage Teach ” box Using ExamView with CPS

Choose a verbal type question Choose delivery methods Exit the CPS program Choose a chalkboard question Select students randomly Close this question session Select the next question Choose any question to start Using ExamView with CPS

Slide 10: 

Click the “ Questions ” tab and the test name appears below. Using ExamView with CPS Click on the test name and the questions appear. Click on any question to begin.

Ask or have the students read the question on the screen, and have the students respond… as they respond the pad number boxes will turn a darker blue. Click “ End ” when all students have responded. Using ExamView with CPS

The correct response and distribution is now displayed. Click on “ Close ” to continue Using ExamView with CPS

Using ExamView with CPS Special option keys: Zoom In and Out Recalculate the question with new variables Go to the next question

Slide 14: 

To move to the next question, click the green advance arrow Then, click “ Start ” . If you are done, click on the red circle. Using ExamView with CPS The % correct on the previous question and the % cumulative correct for all of the questions asked so far are displayed.

Using ExamView with CPS When finished with the questions, click “ Close ” and this window will appear. Click “ Yes ” to save the data and close CPS.
