ExamView allows teachers to create and customize tests quickly, easily, and effectively. : 

ExamView allows teachers to create and customize tests quickly, easily, and effectively. Most quizzes and tests can be made in 3 easy steps! Step Step Step Finished Test! + +

ExamView: 

ExamView Teachers can: add questions. Use Supplied questions test bank or create your own. edit existing questions. create multiple tests for the same unit or chapter ( reorder ). scramble questions to prevent students from cheating. change the test directions . save modifications for later use! Include multimedia – photo’s The new examview now includes an all new test Manager. Use the test manager to manage online (LAN) tests , get results for online tests and generate a wide variety of reports. Yes!

The easiest way to create a test is to use the QuickTest Wizard which will walk you through the test creation. You can choose to create a test using the Test Builder or enter your own questions using the Question Bank Editor . Click on “Create a test using the Quick Test Wizard” After you create or build a test , you can change the instructions, reorder the questions, change the layout, print the test, or publish an online test.

Give your test a title.

1. Choose a test bank that matches with the material you will be testing. Question banks are available for most parts of the materials. 2. Question banks are further organized by chapter.

3. Click “select all” to add all available questions from your chosen question banks to your test. Don’t worry you can remove them later.

1. Click ‘Finish.”

You now have a finished test!: 

You now have a finished test ! ExamView even prints out the answer key!

First – Save your test - ‘File’ menu, click ‘Save As.’

1. Click on question you want to edit. 2. Pull down the ‘ Question’ menu to edit , duplicate , or delete the question.

Click ‘Reorder’ to manually change the order of the test questions. Click ‘Scramble’ to put the questions in random order. You can also scramble questions when you go to print.

Click Save and ‘Print’ when you are satisfied with your test.

1. The print dialog box will allow you to choose the number of test versions to produce. 2. Multiple versions of the test can be produced to combat academic dishonesty. 3. You can even print a sheet for students to record their answers .

Publish a test for students to take on the computer!

Publish a Test Instead of printing the test you can also publish the test. Online testing options… • Local area network (LAN). • Post a test using the ExamView Learning & Test Center. • HTML document to post on your own website. • Export the test for use with your ANGEL , Blackboard , or WebCT course management system.

Under the ‘File’ menu choose ‘Publish Internet Test. Step 1. Choose ‘Publish’ under the File Menu.

Step 2. It will ask you to choose where you want to publish it….. LAN…. save as HTML for your website ….ExamView website.

Select the destination for your test 2. Click ‘Next’ to proceed.

Take a test on a computer using the ExamView Player .

ExamView Test Player: 

ExamView Test Player ExamView program to take a test at a computer . Used to administer computerized tests over your LAN . Tests can include any question type . Include multimedia clips linked to specific questions (e.g., movies, animations, or audio). F eedback for incorrect responses, and print a detailed report. Objective questions are automatically graded Test results can be read by the ExamView Test Manager. Important: You need the latest ExamView Test Player to do all of these features

Make sure you choose Publish to a local network for use with the ExamView Test Player

Open up the Examview Player Where is the ExamView Player

Enter your name (and student ID/password if you required this).

Click on the test you choose to take

When you are ready to take the test you can click start

Prompts you to make sure you want to end the test.

To take a test online at www.evtestcenter.com Important: You must use a browser such as Internet Explorer 5.0 (or a more recent version)/Firefox 1.0 that supports cascading style sheets level 1 (CSS1) and JavaScript. An active Internet connection is required.

Make sure you select the Examview Learning & Test Center as the destination for your test

Log in using your instructor ID which you get when you register your product. Then click on online assessment. This option requires a few more steps. Once you have published it you have to assign the test for the students on the Learning & Test Center site.

Click Assignments and select a class

2. Click ‘Assign.’ 1. Find the test you want to upload in the list.
