Veterans Generation Timeframe 1922-1943 Key Characteristics Believes in command and control Self-sacrifice Respect for authority Not a huge fan of technology for the most part

Baby Boomers : 

Baby Boomers Timeframe 1944-1964 Key Characteristics Incurable optimists Buck the norm Have the $$ to make things happen Some technical savvy Grew up with typewrites, telephone, TV, and fax machines

Generation X (a.k.a. Baby Busters):

Generation Y and Technology Represent the first generations to grow up with new technology Spent their entire lives using computers, videogames, digital music players, video cameras, cell phones. Digital natives (born speaking the language) Digital immigrants (had to learn the technology) Accustomed to social online environment (Pod casting, IM, Video Voice over IP, Wikipedia etc.)
