The first School Olympics in Estonia recognized by EOA were organized in 1996. The national School Olympics project started in 2004. SCHOOL OLYMPICS IN ESTONIA: SCHOOL OLYMPICS IN ESTONIA The School Olympics bring the Olympic Spirit to every child, allow students to enjoy sporting efforts, are not just ordinary sports competitions, but a festival for the entire school, are not national competitions that only the best qualify for – if such were the case, the objective (to bring the Olympics to everyone) would not be achieved.
