Symbols There are various symbols in the the Buddhist religion Statures are very important in the Buddhist religion.Most temples,monasteries and shrines have images of Buddha.most of the Buddha statures are gold because Buddha's gold skin glowed gold two times in his life.he achieved enlightment before death there are three main forms the standing Buddha the lying Buddha and the sitting Buddha. The wheel of life symbolises the cycle of life death and rebirth.the wheel of life has eight spokes which remind people that Buddha taught the eight ways of life. The lotus flower which grows in the mud at the bottom of the pool symbolises purity and divine birth.Buddhist say that people should rise above everything.The lotus flower is are beautiful flower which may have are beautiful and wonderful scent this shows that nothing is perfect in life
