Workflow Example Back to Work Interview Workflow Note the logic employed at each stage See below for a detailed explanation of this workflow

Slide 15:

Back to Work Interview Workflow Explained Workflow instigated via receipt (by employee/manager) of Back to Work Interview form. Form completed and then submitted. Manager receives form, following email prompt. Employee informed via email of rejection. Original form returned to employee’s drafts folder with note explaining reason(s) for rejection. Employee able to review rejection, correct and re-submit. Timed out means that the manager has not responded in the allocated time. The form is returned to the employee for re-submission. Employee informed. End of workflow Manager reviews, and then accepts form. HR.net reads database in preparation for next stage. HR.net checks if absence exists. Since absence exists, HR.net writes reason to database. Since absence did not previously exist, HR.net creates new absence record and then writes this and the reason(s) for absence to the database. Employee informed by email that their Back to Work Interview form has been accepted. No further action required by either party. End of workflow Error trapping in HR.net is in place in case a technical reason prevents the database being updated. Email sent to employee with action to ask them to re-submit. Manager reviews, and then rejects form
