This Programme is being implemented in cooperation with several Chinese national institutions and municipal authorities Under this programme, 57 projects have so far been developed, inter alia, for developing renewable energy sources, energy efficiency, sustainable urban planning, developing low-emission transport systems and technologies, high energy-efficient and environmentally-friendly materials and technologies in buildings and housing sector.. The Sino-Italian environmental cooperation program: The Sino-Italian environmental cooperation program Eco-intelligent building - SIEEB SIEEB is a “smart” and eco-friendly building and being built on Tsinghua University Campus in Beijing. The technically advanced, environmentally friendly and energy efficiency building (20.000mq) will host office, laboratories, an exhibition centre for Italian technologies and a conference facility. With a total height of 40m, ten storeys are above ground and two underground with the fist two levels for public use and house the exhibition center and a commercial activities. Chinese and Italian architect and engineering enterprises developed the project in cooperation
