Tonight’s topic is… How does a person get into heaven?: How does a person get into heaven? There is a lot of confusion on this topic and we don’t want to just speak from our heads… We want you to see exactly what the bible authoritatively says on the topic. SO THAT YOU CAN KNOW WHETHER OR NOT YOU ARE GOING TO HEAVEN.Saved by faith…: Saved by faith… Genesis 15:6 -2,800 years before Christ And Abram believed the LORD, and the LORD declared him righteous because of his faith. Acts 26:18 Open their eyes so they may turn from darkness to light, and from the power of Satan to God. Then they will receive forgiveness for their sins and be given a place among God's people, who are set apart by faith in me.' - JESUSRomans 1:17: Romans 1:17 This Good News tells us how God makes us right in his sight. This is accomplished from start to finish by faith. As the Scriptures say, "It is through faith that a righteous person has life." What is faith in God?: What is faith in God? Believing that God is who He says He is and that He will do all that He says he will do… then respond appropriately. Turn from sin, turn to God, live in obedience.James on faith…: James on faith… If faith is real… it is expressed by obedience. James 2… So you see, it isn't enough just to have faith. Faith that doesn't show itself by good deeds is no faith at all – it is dead and useless…. Just as the body is dead without a spirit, so also faith is dead without good deeds. Do you still think it's enough just to believe that there is one God? Well, even the demons believe this, and they tremble in terror!How to be saved…: How to be saved… Believe that Jesus is who he says he is… God, Savior, and your Master Then respond appropriately… (demons don’t respond appropriately) Turn away from sin continually and try to obey God’s commands.What if you reject Christ?: What if you reject Christ?
