General Tips : 

General Tips Keep a digital camera handy to document student work. Spend time teaching kids how to navigate in their ePortfolios and how to make documents for their ePortfolios.

Organizational Tips: 

Organizational Tips Provide organizational structure for students by thinking about and making folders for various subject areas in your binders. Have kids parallel this organization in their own server folders. They can collect items and then upload them during specified ePortfolio work sessions.

Media Tips : 

Media Tips Keep media small. Become familiar with file formats. Many programs let you save documents and pictures in standard formats, i.e. Inspiration. Learn how to make screen shots. Upload media for kids to give them easy access to pictures and to make the process a bit easier for everyone.

Feedback Tips : 

Feedback Tips Discuss with students good feedback looks like. Establish some ground rules. Encourage reflection and engagement by responding to students’ work consistently.
