Complete SES 250 with a grade of at least a “C” or higher. SES = Specialized Education Services Department. B. No grade below a C- in courses with the SES prefix is acceptable. C. Have a cumulative gpa of 2.75 or higher. D. Pass Praxis I (PPST) with needed scores OR be exempt by SAT/ACT scores OR have a 3.20 cum. gpa at the end of the semester before beginning the program. If a student does not have a strong gpa upon beginning SES 250 it is not advised for students to wait to take the Praxis I unless the cum. gpa of 3.20 is certain. E. This course is a basic technology course that focuses on teaching. Completion of a technology portfolio is required for licensure.
