What is COMET?: 

What is COMET? Mission statement: The COMET Program strives to be the premier resource to support, enhance, convey, and stimulate scientific knowledge about the weather for the benefit of providers, educators, and users of weather information. The COMET program was formed by UCAR to serve as a bridge between operational, research, and educational communities in meteorology.

COMET Program Goals:
