Common Mis-Conceptions : 

Common Mis-Conceptions CS is for computer nerds only It’s better if you have more than one interest so you can understand lots of problems To do CS you have to have done ICT @ GCSE It’s more important to be good at Maths when programming The software we use is expensive It’s freeware!

At least a B in Higher level maths @ GCSE An interest in computer programming An ability to understand problems and break them up into their components You don’t need previous programming experience People who get a thrill from making something and getting it to work.
