Slide2:

Pseudo Dichotomy; Religion or Politics. Real Hope Vs Crayon Theology Work Vs Worry Individual Responsibility VS Government Provision

Slide4:

Individual freedom has been given to all. Laws were established to govern morals. 10 commandments. Laws were established so the government would not dictate a state religion. No laws were established to determine or prevent your level of success and flourishing.

Slide5:

Our current American Christian generation are confused by the freedom our country has created.   As Christians we should be the most aware and ready within our vocation to maintain our house as long as possible, even for the people who will abuse it.

Slide9:

Which One Loves Your Neighbor Best?

Slide10:

Love Your Neighbor, even if they are your enemy. A real application of loving your neighbor.   [Mar 12:30 ESV] And you shall love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your mind and with all your strength.' [Mar 12:31 ESV] The second is this: 'You shall love your neighbor as yourself.' There is no other commandment greater than these."

Slide11:

Grow Up & Be Responsible for Everything God has Placed into your Care

Slide12:

The Command of Stewardship from the beginning. [Gen 2:15 ESV] The LORD God took the man and put him in the garden of Eden to work it and keep it.

Slide13:

The Command of Stewardship of and for the Church. [1Pe 4:10 ESV] As each has received a gift, use it to serve one another, as good stewards of God's varied grace: [1Pe 4:11 ESV] whoever speaks, as one who speaks oracles of God; whoever serves, as one who serves by the strength that God supplies--in order that in everything God may be glorified through Jesus Christ. To him belong glory and dominion forever and ever. Amen.

Slide14:

The Command of Stewardship in your Vocation: Job. [Col 3:22 ESV] Bondservants, obey in everything those who are your earthly masters, not by way of eye-service, as people-pleasers, but with sincerity of heart, fearing the Lord. [Col 3:23 ESV] Whatever you do, work heartily, as for the Lord and not for men, [Col 3:24 ESV] knowing that from the Lord you will receive the inheritance as your reward. You are serving the Lord Christ.

Slide15:

Romans in context. Evil dictator.   [Rom 13:1 ESV] Let every person be subject to the governing authorities. For there is no authority except from God, and those that exist have been instituted by God. [Rom 13:2 ESV] Therefore whoever resists the authorities resists what God has appointed, and those who resist will incur judgment.

Slide16:

Rulers are appointed to uphold justice. [ Rom 13:3 ESV] For rulers are not a terror to good conduct, but to bad. Would you have no fear of the one who is in authority? Then do what is good, and you will receive his approval, [Rom 13:4 ESV] for he is God's servant for your good. But if you do wrong, be afraid, for he does not bear the sword in vain. For he is the servant of God, an avenger who carries out God's wrath on the wrongdoer.

Slide17:

[Rom 13:5 ESV] Therefore one must be in subjection, not only to avoid God's wrath but also for the sake of conscience.

Slide18:

Help support the God’s appointed. [Rom 13:6 ESV] For because of this you also pay taxes, for the authorities are ministers of God, attending to this very thing . [Rom 13:7 ESV] Pay to all what is owed to them: taxes to whom taxes are owed, revenue to whom revenue is owed, respect to whom respect is owed, honor to whom honor is owed. [Rom 13:8 ESV] Owe no one anything, except to love each other, for the one who loves another has fulfilled the law.

Slide19:

Love Your Neighbor [ Rom 13:9 ESV] For the commandments, "You shall not commit adultery, You shall not murder, You shall not steal, You shall not covet," and any other commandment, are summed up in this word: "You shall love your neighbor as yourself."

Slide20:

We must stand on higher ground and protect our house (our current government) from sliding into socialism; which is slavery and a culture of death, for that is loving our neighbors.   [Rom 13:10 ESV] Love does no wrong to a neighbor; therefore love is the fulfilling of the law.   Be the Romans 13 Christian in the country you live.
