How the kiwi lost its ability to fly

Slide 2:

One day Minginnui and her two children woke up from there long sleep there was a boy named Te arawa the older brother and Mokoia the young sister Minginnui said to Te Arawa and Mokoia who wants to go for a walk yeah!! They said together

Slide 3:

so everyone got ready Mokoia asked what forest are we going to she said Minginnui we are going to the Te Urewera rain forest. Minginnui the mother brought the torch and a tent and a first aid kit she didn't tell her kid that they are going camping. Then she put all the stuff into the car and off they went so everyone got ready Mokoia asked what forest are we going to she said Minginnui we are going to the Te Urewera rain forest. Minginnui the mother brought a blankets and a she didn't tell her kids that they are going camping. Then she put all the stuff into there bags and off they went walking.

Slide 4:

When they got to the forest they found a spot they had a piece of bread and meat and they went for a walk there walk was so long Mokoia said im am hungry want to go back home Mokoia said no it is to late we will stay the night but we have nothing to stay warm in yes I brought them just in case.

Slide 5:

. Then they had a night walk. They were walking along the track then they stotted a small green light in the distance look said Mokoia it’s a glow worm Mingnnui can we go back and get some thing to catch it ok come Te arawa so they both ran back and tried to find something.

Slide 6:

. Then they found a net made out of flax to catch a glow worm they were running then they didn’t notice that they had ran off the track then they had spotted a big dark cave so they went to have a look they got in then nothing was there so they went out then there was a noise Te Arawa picked up a stick then he herd it again he threw the stick and it hit the kiwi the it had a broken wing.

Slide 7:

Then Te Arawa and Mokoia went to see what Te Arawa had hit they went to see slowly the peeked through the bush and there was a kiwi with a broken wing they took it back to there spot then they had put it down onto the blanket then mingnnui came back were have you been we went off the track and we hit kiwi and I broke its wing so I brought it back here

Slide 8:

Then mingnnui helped the kiwi then in the morning mingnnui, Te Arawa and Mokoia packed there things and walked home then 12 months later the kiwis wing grew back better.
