PLANETS :

PLANETS By Madison I chose this topic because of my liking for planets and space.

Planets :

Planets These are the planets in our solar system. Planets Planets The solar system is called The Milky Way

What does a planet look like? :

What does a planet look like? This is what a planet looks like. This one is Jupiter and the one in the corner is Saturn.

When were the planets born? :

When were the planets born? Some scientists say 4.6 billion yrs ago Others say about 15 billion yrs ago. Others say 25 billion yrs ago. There are a lots of theories about when the planets were born.

Which is the hottest planet? :

Which is the hottest planet? Venus is the hottest planet even though Mercury is closer to the sun. Mercury is closest to the sun. However, because of its proximity to the sun it lacks an atmosphere. Venus's atmosphere is primarily full of carbon dioxide which acts like an oven. The solar heat enters, but it cannot leave. Answer

What is the sun made of? :

What is the sun made of? The sun is made of a vast glowing ball of hot gasses. The Sun is a mixture of gases 75% hydrogen and 25% helium. Heat radiates outwards through a zone. It is a layer about 500 kilometers (300 miles) thick, where the temperature is a 'cool' 5 800 kelvin.

Why Doesn't the Moon fly off in space? :

Why Doesn't the Moon fly off in space? Most Moons in the solar system are sufficiently small compared to the planets they orbit. The tidal effect on the Moon is static because the Moon no longer rotates in relation to the Earth.

Where does the sun go at night? :

Where does the sun go at night? Nothing really happens to the sun at night. It is what happens to the part of the Earth. The sun is shining just the same in other parts of the world at the same time that you have night
