Rapid Response - Rationale : Rapid Response - Rationale People – It is not always possible to assemble all team members at a physical location during an emergency. Some members may never be able to assemble due to the nature of their function (i.e. field personnel)
Assets – The meeting place must have access to asset information and availability so that they can be bought to bear on situations as they evolve
Collaboration – A means of communication must be available to quickly communicate with others up, down, laterally, and outside of the chain of command in accordance with SOPs
Knowledge – The team must have immediate access to knowledge like situational awareness, and subject matter expertise to solve problems. Such knowledge is typically stored in people and media Don’t forget to “P-A-C-K” adequately for any emergency or major event It is rarely feasible to physically bring all these elements together
